Threaded Lid for a Secure seal

Each embrace urn is filled by unscrewing the top lid. The threaded lid can be hand tightened for a secure seal. The threaded lid can be open and closed for customers who wish to spread ashes at a later date. The lid can also be sealed permanently if you so choose, with the use of super glue around the threads.

Soft Felt Pad to prevent scratches

Knowing that our embrace urns can be placed on a variety of different surfaces in your home, columbarium or niche, we knew we must protect the bottom of the urn. This is why every embrace urn has a soft felt pad on the bottom to ensure no scratching will occur on the surface of your choice.

This means that embrace keepsakes are going to be a little taller in size and will be able to hold a little more capacity than other keepsakes you might find. We know that most keepsakes are given as gifts and there for we wanted to create a look and size that would have an impact.

Common Date Formats

Based on the size and type of the urn, the dates can be written in different styles and formats. The rule of thumb is very simple, the larger the size of the urn, more characters it can fit. For example, a full sized Adult Cremation urn can fit the entire Months (Eg, January, February etc.) but a Keepsake can only fit Years (Eg, 1934-2019 etc.). Below are some common date formats.

A columbarium is a place too for storing urns, so they give a specific place to visit the deceased. A niche is a recessed space in a wall or in a columbarium used to place urns containing cremated. They vary a lot in sizes. Some columbarium niches are designed for specific size urns while others may contain a double size space for two urns or even larger niches for multiple urns. We advise you to check with the columbarium or niche manager to make sure that the cremation urn you choose will fit within the space and meet any other requirement they may have.

Many cemeteries have urn gardens specifically designated for burying urns. The burial urns are interments where ashes are buried inside an urn in the ground. A small marker is typically added to the urn burial plot. For burial, metal or bronze is often the material of choice. Burial urns come in various sizes to contain ashes of a child, an adult, or even two people.
